TI-30X PCB & Calculator Chip

The T6A61 was a single chip calculator solution manufactured by the Toshiba Corporation of Japan. It was an extremely popular IC used in a large number calculator models because of its low power consumption.

This Toshiba calculator IC was one of the best in its time. Toshiba are the leaders in monolithic technology, and their chips were widely used on many consumer electronics products.

Toshiba T6A61

The T6A61 had an on-board oscillator circuit to generate the clock pulse for the digital circuitry. It decoded the keyboard and drove the LCD directly.
