The shutter speed, ASA setting, and f/Stop have a mechanical linking in this camera. With 200 ASA film, the typical shutter speed and minimum f/Stop setting is usually f/22.
Modern digital cameras use ISO setting instead of the ASA setting. This is a huge improvement over conventional 35 mm film cameras.
Selecting ASA and shutter speeds for the Canon FTb can be a little tricky. Here is a chart showing which shutter speeds to use for any particular ASA film. This chart also shows the depth of field figures, and f-stop values.
