Universal AvoMinor Design and Engineering

This Universal AvoMinor was a hand-constructed product and therefore a relatively expensive product for the time. The shunts and precision resistors would have required construction by hand which would have taken time. The electronic construction is in the same style as the AvoMeters with a meter movement and dial assembly, fabricated on a parallel factory line, which comes together within the case.

They are using the same type of AC rectifier as that used in the AvoMeters, and many of the wire wound resistors are of the same design.
