The British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) was one of the most successful manufacturers of aircraft and weapons in UK. Over half of all the countries in the world had chosen BAC aircraft and weapons. It had a huge aerospace programme ranging from space engineering and defence technologies through long -- and short -- haul airliner programmes. It manufactured precision instruments and industrial products, which achieved worldwide success.
The main product that contributed to its success was the BAC one-eleven, also known as "BAC 1-11", which received over 50 orders by 30 operators throughout the world. This aeroplane was a product of BACs Weybridge division factories.
