Panasonic Adapter & Battery

The Panasonic RQ-SX20 comes with an adapter (model RFA0617), which allows the user to use a standard AA size battery with the unit. The adapter screws to the cassette player and facilitates the use of a standard dry cell. This unit also comes with a rechargeable battery RP-BP62, and its mains charger, however, over time many people lose these accessories, especially when the rechargeable batteries stop holding charge.

With the Panasonic R6 dry cell, you get 14-hours use, and with a LR6 battery, you get 35-hours use.

RP-BP62

The Panasonic RP-BP62 is a rechargeable battery, manufactured by the Matsushita Industrial Corporation, in China. It is a nickel cadmium battery, which provides 1.2 V and has a capacity of 600 mAh.

The Panasonic rechargeable battery alone will provide 11 hours use time. However, you can use a dry cell and the rechargeable battery to provide 25 hours use. The LR6 battery together with a rechargeable battery provides approximately 45-hours play time.
