LM1889N TV Video Modulator Chip
The LM1889N is a TV Video integrated circuit (IC) that was widely used in the 1980s. It provides an interface for audio and video signals to the antenna terminals of a TV receiver. It is a fully integrated package consisting of multiple oscillators for the sound sub-carrier, and chroma sub-carrier. It enables video signals from home computer, and games, for display on a television receiver.
When used with the MM57100 and MM53104 ICs, it is possible to view any game on a standard television. This IC has many features such as DC channel switching, 12 V to 18 V supply operation, and excellent oscillator stability.
