Sinclair ZX81 Kit - Building a home computer

The Sinclair ZX81 was one of the earliest home computers available in kit form. It was the invention of Sir Clive Sinclair, the only British business entrepreneur to make an everlasting change to the home computer market.

Many people will remember this advertisement for a readymade ZX81selling at £149.95 or a kit version for £99.95. After a few years, the prices dropped and I remember the kits selling for as little as £29.95.
