Hitachi HT-660
The HT-660 is a fully automatic, quartz-locked, Unitorque direct drive, turntable manufactured by the Hitachi Corporation. This is an advanced turntable with an optical tone arm return sensing mechanism. It consists of an independent motor responsible for automatic functions such as automatic cueing, auto-return, auto-cut, and auto repeat. It has an electronic breaking system, which ensures that the platter stops within three seconds. The operating controls are all positioned such that they can be accessed with the cover closed. An advantage of this turntable is that the tone arm height is adjustable, thereby allowing cartridges of different sizes to be used.
