JVC Turntables and Quartz-Lock Technology of 1978

return

The JVC Corporation pioneered the Double-Servo Quartz system, and its introduction was first in 1978, with use on a turntable. The technology offered thirty times more speed accuracy than conventional Quartz Systems available at the time. The JVC Super FG Servo and Coreless DC motor provided accurate and precise speed for direct-drive turntables. These turntables are extremely valuable in the pre-used market and highly sought after by audiophiles.
