The VS-1BP was an Audio/Video Graphic Synthesizer manufactured by the JVC Corporation of Japan. It converted audio into various fun-to-watch patterns that could be seen on a television set. It had the following features.

  • Five fun-to-watch display patterns shown on connected TV: PEAK/VU reading, Spectrum analysis, "Sound Image", "Sound Space", and "Musical Scaling" displays
  • Mike, Audio, Video 1 and Video 2 inputs
  • Built-in serial interface compatible with RS-232C port in home computers
  • Built-in RF converter for connection with a TV
