Nakamichi RE-10
return

The RE-10 was an AM/FM stereo receiver manufactured by the Nakamichi Corporation. It was a 2-channel amplifier providing 100-watts per channel. It also has the Nakamichi Harmonic Time Alignment (HTA) feature in the power output section. According to the literature, all amplified sound contains distortion components, however when you time align these components, it has a profound effect on the perceived sound quality.

The main difference between the AV-10, AV-8, and AV-7, and the RE-10 is that the RE-10 does not have any of that surround sound overhead, and therefore hi-fi purists prefer the RE-10. However, the AV series can be used in stereo mode and therefore they are just as popular.
