Roksan Artemiz

Artemiz was the first tonearm manufactured by the Roksan Corporation to set new standards for the 1990s. It was modelled on the Cambyses, and had an intelligent counterweight system, and pyramid bearings. The arm material is single piece heat treated aluminium alloy with 240 mm effective length and 17.5 mm overhang. The mass for the recommended tracking force is 1.6 g to 3.0 g.

As engineering technology goes, this would be considered as the high-end by audiophiles around the world. It is one of the first unipivoted tonearms that hangs like a pendulum, and today, these tonearms are highly valuable and desired. In the Roksan Oct 1989 Hi-Fi Price List, the suggested retail price of the Artemiz (ART1) was £495.00.
