Bang & Olufsen Beovox MS150 Speakers

The Beovox MS150 (Type No:6411) was a loudspeaker system manufactured by the Bang & Olufsen Corporation. Its power handling capability is 150-watts (rms) with 8 Ω impedance, and dimensions 36 cm × 83.5 cm × 34 cm. The net volume is 64-litres, and mass 30 kg, and this loudspeaker employed their linear phase and linear amplitude technologies to produce a high-end speaker system. It consisted of monitor quality 10-inch sub-woofer, 8-inch woofer, 3-inch dome phase-link unit, and a 1-inch super tweeter.

The MS150 is a rare speaker system that is very occasionally for sale on eBay. Many of these older speakers require replacement foam surrounds, for which there is a replacement repair kit. A pair of speakers in good working order and in mint condition can command a price in the hundreds of pounds. The bidding can go into the thousands of pounds depending upon the day and the number of interested buyers.
