JVC 4VR-5426X -- JVC High Fidelity Cat 2

The 4VR-5426X was a 4-channel stereo receiver with quadraphonic matrix decoding capability manufactured by the JVC Corporation. It had built-in 4-channel matrix decoders for SQ and other sources such as CD-4, QUADRADISC, Matrix-1/Matrix-2, and discrete 4-channel FM. It was 17-watts per channel (8 Ω loads) and had directly-coupled fully complementary OCL power amplifier. It is usually for sale on eBay and is a highly desirable piece of electronic engineering that is sought after by record and vinyl users.
