Roksan Radius
The Radius was a record player manufactured by the Roksan Corporation. It was selected as one of the most innovative consumer electronic products of 1991 at the Chicago Consumer Electronics Exhibition. It had a 2-speed belt-drive mechanism consisting of a custom made Swiss AC synchronous motor. The electronic control and timing was quartz locked. It was usually used with the Corus Blue or Corus Black cartridges. This article shows the specifications, and some of the design engineering features that went into its conception.
