The TC-630 is a highly sought after reel-to-reel tape recorder that occasionally comes up for sale at places such as eBay. These units usually require servicing as they are well past their useful service life. Repair usually includes the replacement of belts and rubber surfaces. If you are buying one, make sure that the motor is good and it comes with the power cord as replacements are hard to find. A unit in mint condition with the original packaging can go for hundreds of pounds on a good day. However a well-used worn out unit is not worth much as spare parts are difficult and expensive to obtain these days.
