Elsi Mate EL-860 Calculator Chip

The ELSI MATE EL-860 uses the L13324A1 integrated circuit (IC), in a Chip on Board (COB) style package. The Sharp Corporation developed this IC. Back then, the calculator industry was highly competitive, and there were giants such as Casio, Texas Instruments, Sharp, and Toshiba, manufacturing calculator chips.
