Canon EOS 3000 BC Error

When the LCD displays BC Error, this is an indication that the battery charge is low. Replacing the batteries with new ones usually resolves this error.

In some cases, this error remains even after changing the batteries. Pressing the shutter button half way should show a battery level icon instead. If BC error remains, then the camera requires repair.
