Sony TCM-260 Power Supply

The Sony TCM-260 accepts power from batteries or a DC socket located on the side. It requires 6 V DC consisting of four "AA" size batteries. The basic dry cell batteries provided approximately three hours of continuous power for recording, however special heavy-duty and long life batteries can last up to 8 hours. The battery compartment can also accept the BP-61 rechargeable battery pack.

To provide power through the DC socket, the unit requires an optional AC-15A adapter, for UK customers. US customers had to use the supplied AC-9W adapter.
