Gertboard Components Parts List

The Gertboard is a GPIO expansion board for the Raspberry Pi computer. Gert van Loo of Fen Logic Ltd. designed it. It consists of many separate circuits, mounted on a single board to save the user time and money. This is the parts list of the first board, introduced as a kit. During the introduction of this board, I could not get hold of even one to take a photograph of it, and all my whippersnappers wanted to play with it. Therefore, the only course of action left was to get the components and make some of the circuits on prototyping board. Many of the circuits are standalone, and therefore easily built on small matrix boards for experimentation. If you need just the analogue to digital converter, then it might work out better to build just that part of the circuit. This component list also has the associated Farnell / Element14 order code; hence, you can get the components straight away.
