Inside QuickShot 1

Inside Circuit board

The "QuickShot 1" joystick was extremely well designed and manufactured for the time, and has a four-way switch fabricated on a printed circuit board (PCB). The switch consists of tin-plated contacts etched on the PCB. There is no electronic circuitry, which is good news for those considering making their own retro joystick for a 1980s home computer.

It might be a good idea to clean the contacts and ensure there is enough tension on the contacts.

The firing button is simply a PCB fabricated switch and there is a small spring to push the plastic cap up.
