Review
I bought these because of the wide frequency range and wanted to sample how they sounded. They are wonderful sounding with good bass and treble range. In this design, the 40 mm drivers are positioned at an angle to introduce the sound into your ears more precisely. The ear pads are large at approximately 100 mm in diameter and consequently they cover the ears entirely making them very comfortable to wear compared to on-ear designs that press over the ears. The headband design is also very unique and provides just enough pressure to the cups.
Price/eBay
At the time of introduction they cost approximately $99.99, however I managed to pick up a pre-used pair for a fiver because the ear pads had perished completely, and the wire had broken. I managed to find a generic set of ear pads and they fitted to the cups well. The replacement pads cost around three pounds and came from China.
