Binatone TV Master MK IV
The TV Master MK IV was an electronic games console manufactured by the Binatone Corporation in approximately 1977. It was an extremely popular toy allowing the user to play Pong using a conventional television receiver set to display the image. This was the first in the series, which was available at the Woolworths store in Croydon for £12.95.
Why not enjoy an authentic 1977 Christmas this year with the most popular Christmas toy of the same era. It is amazing to think that such a simple game could bring so much joy to so many people. Moreover, the amazing thing is that it is still just as much fun compared to some of the modern games found today. Many families will remember opening a Christmas present in 1977 and finding the TV Master. Amazingly it was during the same Christmas when the weather outside was frightful and it snowed! Since there was no place else to go, everyone stayed indoors and played Pong in front of a cosy warm fireplace, and it was the best Christmas we had.
