Hitachi HCA-8300 and HMA-8300

The HCA-8300 is a Stereo Preamplifier, whilst the HMA-8300 is a Stereo Power Amplifier, manufactured by the Hitachi Corporation. The power amplifier uses the Dynaharmony Class-G design, providing up to 200-watts (rms) into an 8 Ω load. It also allows for up to 800-watts dynamic power at 8 Ω (1 kHz). The preamplifier and power amplifier operate as a pair and provide an extremely high quality sound. These units are very rare today, and when they turn up on eBay, there is usually a high amount of interest from hi-fi audiophiles looking for the best in audio.
