Philips RH802
The RH802 was a record-playing system with built-in tuner and amplifier marketed in 1972 by the Philips Corporation. The system usually came with the RH402 loudspeakers and GP400 stereo magnetic cartridge with 15 µm diamond stylus. The amplifier power output was 15-watts (rms) per channel into 4 Ω loads, and the total harmonic distortion was less than (or equal to) 1 %. The tuner section covers FM, MW, LW, and SW bands. It is also equipped with automatic frequency control (AFC), five FM presets, and a tuning meter. The record player section has a synchronous low-speed (250 rpm) motor to drive the 10¼-inch turntable. The tone arm has viscous damping with slide-in cartridge system. The RH402 loudspeaker is infinite baffle type with 20-watts power handling capacity, 7-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter.
