Toshiba SR-B2 Service Manual
The SR-B2 (including SR-B2L) was a belt-driven automatic stereo turntable manufactured by the Toshiba Corporation in 1982. Both models were similar however the SR-B2L was the cartridge-less version and came without cartridge. They used a moving magnet (MM) cartridge C-62M with N-62D stylus, or alternatively induce magnet (IM) cartridge C-64M with N-64D stylus. This service manual shows how to use the turntable, change the stylus, and could be useful if your unit is not working properly and needs repair.
Review
Although an old turntable, it has some good points going for it such as an AC 4-pole semi-synchronous motor, resulting in wow and flutter figure of less than 0.07 % (wrms). This unit can also have the induce magnet cartridge, and 15 µm diamond-tipped spherical stylus option.
