iPod Touch 1st Generation Battery

The iPod Touch First Generation uses a 3.7 V Li-ion Polymer battery with the following numbers.

• Apple P/N: 616-0341
• Vendor P/N: P11G68-01-S01

The battery is stuck with semi-permanent glue which needs to be warm to loosen. Do NOT wedge a sharp implement between the gap because there are two ribbon cables underneath, that you will damage for sure.

There are three battery wires, white, red, and black, soldered to the main PCB.
