TEAC V-377 Removing Door

Cassette Compartment Door

Removing the TEAC V-377 cassette door was a tricky job and very fiddly. The cassette door and pivots are plastic, hence I had to be very careful, as the plastic may have weakened over the years and I did not want to break it. In this design, there are access cut-outs directly below the hinge pivots, so one can insert a screwdriver to remove the pivots out of their recess holes. There is usually a spring that remains fixed to the fascia, hence this was not a difficult task. The photographs below might help.
