JVC CX-F7K Removing Outer Casing

The JVC CX-F7K has top and bottom plastic covers that can be removed after undoing some screws shown in the service manual. One can then gain access to the chassis, and it is still possible to insert the battery and test the player, providing the lock switch contacts are temporarily joined.
