Sony WM-EX17 Removing Back Cover

The Sony WM-EX17 does not have any screws to the back cover, and instead they use plastic locking tabs around the edges. You will need strips of thin plastic to wedge into places where the tabs are. There are also two hidden tabs shown by the red circles in the photograph above. These tabs are long and lock into slots in the cassette compartment. Usually a screwdriver is required to unlock them from the cassette compartment.
