Technics SA-180 Engineering

The SA-180 and SA-180L amplifiers had wonderful design and build quality, and here you can see some of the design aspects. The board layout, quality components, and good electronic engineering come together to produce something special that audio engineers still appreciate today. The circuit boards on this unit appear almost new and it is impressive that it lasted this long with very little wear showing. In contrast, I have seen surround sound systems built as recent as 2015 with heavily charred boards and electronics that did not stand the test of time.
