Technics SA-180 Tuner Circuitry

The FM reception of the SA-180 tuner circuitry is excellent, and here they used the AN7273 and C1161C3 integrated circuits (IC). The radio electronics is neat, and sophisticated, resulting in excellent performance. At the back, it has a socket to connect a 75-Ω coaxial antenna wire, and I did just that connecting the unit to a rooftop aerial and was very impressed with the reception.
