These are ¼-inch jack sockets. There are two sockets so that the owner can connect two speakers. As you can see from the wiring, the speakers connect in parallel.

A huge iron core transformer adds to the weight of the wooden outer case, and the metal steel chassis. This is an impressive little amplifier.

The transformer has dedicated windings for the main amplifier block (red-blue-red wires), the mixer system (yellow pair), and the cooling fan (white pair).

Overall, I was very impressed with the steel chassis, and the sturdy build quality.
