Crank Radio Power Supply

A crank radio usually has multiple power supply options, and this particular one has a battery compartment where you may install dry cells. On one side, it also has a barrel socket to feed 6 V DC using a mains adapter.

This crank radio has a pair of sealed rechargeable batteries, which remains within the radio. The generator recharges only these batteries. Of course, it would be nicer if it would charge the batteries within the battery compartment as well, thereby increasing the storage capacity.
