Empress Pocket Radio Inside Look

The Empress D-1258 was hand constructed and soldered. They have tried to pack a great amount of components onto a small board space; however, it all works extremely well even today. On some of the metal surfaces, there are signs of rust and oxidation, but the radio reception is still very good. The tuning is very unusual because all the stations are very close together, however, selectable.
