John Adams Crystal Radio Kit Parts

You get this lovely kit with all the necessary parts to build the radio. Buying a kit is often better than buying all the parts individually as it works out cheaper in the end. With crystal radios, the tuning capacitor and ferrite coil form a tuned circuit and their values are critical. If you were to make the coil by hand, and the values were not correct, then you would not be able to receive many stations, or tune into the whole of the AM band. Hence, a kit can save much time as well.
