USB PC Interface - Robotic Arm

This kit comes with an USB PC interface and programming software; however, it is available separately as a kit from online shops as well. The part number for the USB PC Board is P27, the CD Disk is P26, and the USB Wire is P25. Installing the P27 board is extremely simple because all the wires have sockets and there is no soldering involved.

I installed the software on Windows 7 and it works fine without any issues. It should work on Windows 8 as well. There are two modes to the accompanying software. The basic mode allows one to move the joints manually, and the program mode allows one to record the steps. When I was playing with this, it seemed to me that this arm was ideal for the Python language on perhaps a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino.
