PD V1.08 B3

PD V1.08 B3 is a software tool for the iCreate brand of chips, and the i5128 family of microcontrollers. This should not be used for any other microcontroller chips.

I did not have to enter the VID / PID numbers as they were already present when starting the application, hence this tool is most probably designed to work with only the iCreate i5128 microcontroller chip.

I was able to use this tool to correct the drive capacity of Father Clarke’s USB Memory Stick after recovering the data. As you can see from the screen shot, device 1 now displays the correct capacity of 1 GB.

This tool provides a dialog box where one can set the correct drive capacity.

This tool performs low level tricks and the wrong settings can make the USB memory stick un-readable on the PC, and when you try to open the Removable Drive folder, it will not open.

I experimented with the memory stick that I had as I did not want it, and found that it was possible to make the memory stick readable again by using the low-level format options.

I managed to find a file called i5127-PDV1.08B3.zip which contained the tool. This tool can still be found on Google by searching for this file. However, I would recommend a thorough scan of the file before using it as the source is often not clear.
