Apple G3 Mod
Modifying an Apple G3 desktop tower (also known as Apple Power Macintosh G3), so that we can install an ATX style PC motherboard inside it is not as simple as it sounds. I always liked the G3 case because of the futuristic looking translucent white and blue plastic panels and figured what it needed was a PC motherboard. After my initial modification article over five years ago, many people asked for more photographs showing how I managed to make the necessary changes to cause this transformation. In this project, I wanted to adjust and alter as little as possible, and try to adapt what the case already had, but it is not as simple as it first appears.
