Kodak 277X Case

The Kodak 277X came in a plastic field case for storage purposes. This was an innovative design as one could still take a photograph whilst the camera remained in its case. The plastic construction is very durable which is why this camera lasted so long. There is also a plastic locking mechanism on the side of the case to secure the camera.

The case uses a flimsy plastic fold for the hinge and consequently I would expect this to break over time.
