Sanyo M2420 Radio

The Sanyo M2420 radio circuit uses the 2SC930 (BF224) transistors in every stage. This is an NPN silicon transistor for RF amplification, mixer, and oscillator applications. Interestingly, group F version of this transistor has a maximum DC current gain (hFE) of 320 making it ideal for use by hobbyists in simple radio circuits. I shall have to see if I can get one for experimentation...
