Split Rail Power Supply DIY Build

In these types of builds, you can make it look neat if you keep the wires to a reasonable length and hidden under the board. Here, I am using high-grade copper from networking cable, which works well. Since the wires will not be moving about once soldered, single core copper wire is the best to use, and much easier to prepare and solder than stranded wire.

When wiring the voltage regulators, pay special attention to their pinouts, because they will not be the same. You should consult the component documentation first.
