Alba CCP1 Tape Transport

The Alba CCP1 has an all-plastic tape transport construction. It is an interesting design, built to a reasonable standard, and generally quite reliable. Apart from the screws and the springs, everything else is plastic, and almost reminiscent of a disposable cassette player, which is why not very many will be around in the future.

Audio Head

The design of the audio head is a little unusual, and I do not think I have seen it elsewhere on any Sony, or Sanyo cassette players.

Terminals

This shows the reverse part of the audio head, and the terminals.

Motor

This is a photograph of the motor. The speed regulation of this motor is to a reasonable standard; however, you can tell straight away that it is a cheap motor.
