Sony WM-33 Power

The Sony WM-33 back is well designed and simple. There is a battery hatch, and a belt clip, which screws on. This Walkman requires two AA size batteries; alternatively, it may be powered through the DC socket if you have a mains adapter providing 3 V DC.

This model was for the budget-end of the market and enjoyed a mass production therefore there are still many of them around. A damaged and scratched one that does not work would be worth around 99 pence to £2.00; however, one in a good condition with its original box could fetch between £10 and possibly more at an eBay auction.
