Sony Walkman Battery Adapter

The WM-EX612 battery adapter allows the owner to use a standard AA size battery to power the Walkman. The rechargeable battery has a finite lifetime, and after it stops holding charge, the owners usually revert to using the battery adapter. Since these adapters are no longer available, you should look after it, because it is irreplaceable.

DC Socket

This battery adapter also has a DC socket for feeding powering from a mains adapter. The later Walkman designs for some reason no longer had this option. This adapter also seems to work with other Walkmans, which makes it very valuable and useful.

This is a lovely Walkman worth getting, and ideal for the collector.

NC-6WM Battery Compartment

This is the NC-6WM rechargeable battery compartment. Due to the similarity in size and shape, people refer to it as a "chewing gum stick" battery.
