Sharp SA-606H PCB and Back Chassis

The Sharp SA-606H amplifier has a wonderful metal chassis frame, which holds the two main boards and the transformer. The chassis provides access to the underside of the PCBs, so that an engineer can service the amplifier without having to take the PCBs off the chassis. As you can see, the power amplifier stage is on a separate PCB, and amazingly, there are no dry joints! I just love this elaborate transformer mount indicating thoughtful detail in the engineering. It would be hard to find this type of design on modern amplifiers these days.
