Canon EOS 300 Battery Grip

Canon EOS 300 Battery Grip

The Canon EOS 300 has an integrated battery grip. This is the part, which one would grip whilst holding the camera and it also doubles as the battery compartment space. In many cameras, this section of the camera is removable allowing the owner to use a different grip and battery type. For example, grips enable the owner to use a higher capacity battery, or perhaps an alternative battery type.

This camera has an optional battery pack BP-200 which fits to the base and screws into the tripod socket. It enables the owner to use standard "AA" size batteries. It also has a vertical-grip shutter button.

There is also Grip GR-100TP, which also fits to the base and screws to the tripod socket. It provides the user with a hand strap and a folding mini tripod.
