Antex ST6 Stand Construction

When you open the box, it will contain all the items necessary to build this stand. It is very easy to assemble it and you do not really need instructions.

Metal Base Plate

There is a thick metal plate, which slots into the base, and it provides weight to the stand so it remains upright. Here you can also see the grooves on the side, where the second half of the stand slots in.

Sponge

You also get a nice good quality sponge with the stand. When you use these sponges, make sure to soak them in water first. It will make the sponge last longer as well as your soldering iron tip.

Bit Storage

Free Solder

The stand also comes with some solder, and it consists of 99.25 % tin and 0.25 % copper.

Antex make a wide range of soldering iron stands, and the ST6 is probably at the top end of the range.

Rubber Feet

The base is where you need to attach the rubber slip-resistant feet. If you have that little extra money, then overall this is a good stand worth getting.
