Hepburn Mk2 Rechargeable Battery Compartment

The Hepburn Mk2 requires a rechargeable battery to operate, and therefore has a special battery compartment with a connector for this. Replacement rechargeable batteries are usually available on the auction site but quite expensive as it is a large one.

No Battery Message

If you have a radio without the battery, and you want to power it with an adapter, it usually displays "No Battery" on the display. However, once it has set the time and date automatically, press the power button again (short duration press), and it should switch ON with the DAB radio.
