Beats EP ML992ZM/A Ear Pads
Replacement ear pads for the Beats EP headphones are readily available and they usually have a ring of double-sided adhesive tape such as that shown in blue above. One simply has to peel off the top protective layer of the tape, align the dimples, and stick the pads.
In my pre-used headphones that I repaired, I had to remove the pads for cleaning, and consequently I also removed the ring of double-sided tape that was there. It was partially damaged so there was no point in keeping it. To fix the ear-pads back to the front panel, I used clear hot-melt glue from a glue gun. I applied a thin bead of glue on the grey plastic, but not on the holes. It is extremely robust and makes a good semi permanent bond, so in case I need to remove it again, then it is possible to do so with ease.
